Why Vietnam Robusta for Wholesale
~40%
of global Robusta supply
Vietnam dominates global Robusta output, making it the default origin for commercial blends and instant coffee worldwide.
400–800m
growing altitude
Central Highlands basalt soil at 400–800m produces high-density beans with strong body and low acidity — the profile commercial roasters require.
2nd largest
coffee producer globally
Vietnam's scale and cost structure make it the most price-competitive Robusta origin for container-load buyers.
GreenTech sources directly from farming areas in Lam Dong and Dak Nong provinces — within the Central Highlands production belt — with no spot-market aggregation. Our direct farm-to-FCL model means supply commitments hold through both surplus and tight crop years. Monitor current FOB prices and supply conditions in our monthly market reports.
Common Questions from Wholesale Buyers
What Vietnam Robusta grades do you supply for wholesale orders?
We supply Grade 1 Screen 18 and Screen 16 in both Cleaned and Color Sorted variants, Grade 2 Standard (FAQ grade), and Robusta Culi (peaberry). All lots are screened, graded, and SGS-inspected before shipment from our Lam Dong and Dak Nong facilities.
What is the minimum wholesale order quantity?
Minimum order is 1 × 20ft FCL, which accommodates approximately 19–21 MT depending on grade and packaging. LCL shipments are available on request for trial orders. Free 1–2 kg samples are available for qualified importers before committing to a container.
What is the current FOB price for Vietnam Robusta?
FOB prices move with ICE London Robusta futures plus a quality premium that varies by grade and processing. Grade 1 Screen 18 Color Sorted typically carries a premium of $250–300/ton above commodity-grade futures. Contact our export team for a firm quotation valid for your shipment window.
Do you offer forward contracts for future delivery?
Yes. We can contract Q3 and Q4 volumes at agreed specifications. Given current market conditions — low certified stockpiles and seasonal supply risk — forward contracting is advisable for buyers with predictable quarterly requirements.
What payment terms do you offer for wholesale buyers?
Standard terms are 30% T/T deposit on order confirmation, balance against copy of B/L. L/C at sight accepted. We receive payments through registered banks in both Vietnam and Hong Kong.
What is the difference between Cleaned and Color Sorted Robusta?
Cleaned lots pass through screen grading and gravity table separation. Color Sorted adds a final optical sorting pass removing discoloured beans, achieving tighter defect tolerances: Black ≤ 0.2%, Broken ≤ 0.5%, Foreign Matter ≤ 0.1% — versus Cleaned at ≤ 0.5%, ≤ 1%, ≤ 0.5% respectively.
